The follow-up to "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" finds young wizard Harry Potter and his friends, Ron and Hermione, facing new challenges during their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they try to discover a dark force that is terrorizing the school.
Though perhaps more enchanting for younger audiences, Chamber of Secrets is nevertheless both darker and livelier than its predecessor, expanding and improving upon the first film's universe.

Probably nothing if you're a diehard fan of the books; but if you're not, you might find the 161-minute running time just a little much. |

It's magical, & the special effects are certainly better this time around. What I miss is the story. Without the story, a fantasy is nothing more than strange creatures & some creative escape. |
